DinoMixer is a dinosaur image mixing app for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Designed to put a smile on the face of dinosaur fans of all ages, DinoMixer lets you mix and match the heads, bodies and tails of 13 different dinosaurs to make thousands of mixed-up dinosaurs.
Swipe up and down to make the coolest, or funniest, dinosaur combinations. Shake the device to mix them up and see how fast you can match them back to make up a real dinosaur.
Match up all three parts of the same dinosaur and the name appears, along with a button that gives access to three pages of information about that dinosaur. This includes background on what makes that dinosaur interesting and unique, along with maps of where its fossils have been found, a chart of the period in which the animal lived and an illlustration showing the dinosaur's size in comparison to a modern human.
Swipe sideways to choose between 5 different background scenes, or a plain background. Backgrounds and foregrounds can be moved independently and can also be mixed and matched.
DinoMixer comes with a soundtrack of prehistoric jungle sounds, and features artwork by Charley Parker, author/artist of "Dinosaur Cartoons": http://www.dinosaurcartoons.com and "Argon Zark!", the long running interactive web comic: http://www.zark.com
Ongoing free updates will include additional dinosaurs, more backgrounds and other new features.
